CONCERNS TO LOOK OUT FOR

Issues and concerns that we request the community to report to K2C includes the following aspects:

o Illegal Harvesting

o Illegal Dumping

o Sand mining

o General Poaching

o Pollution / river spills (oil, fuel etc)

HOW TO REPORT & WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

K2C Biosphere as a body is not a law enforcement agency, nor do we have the ability to ensure or counteract environmental crimes.

Thus, if you report a problem, we will pass on the information to the necessary bodies and authorities who are able to take action or counteract any environmental misdeeds.

In addition to that, we will also be able to use the information to correctly identify projects and educaitonal programmes that will be implemented in the identified areas through the Environmental Monitors programme to help educate, mitigate and minimise such problems currently undertaken and in the future.

Without the input and knowledge from the community of the perpetration of environmental misdeeds, we are unable to plan future programmes towards the mitigation of such incidents.

To send us informaiton or to report a problem, please fill in the online form along side and submit.   The necessary person within K2C will respond accordingly
