The Hoedspruit Farmers Market is powered by the K2C Biosphere. The monthly Farmers Market creates access to market for local small-scale farmers, artists and crafters to sell their products.

Our open air market is embedded around the Farm House buildings on Zandspruit Boulevard (R527, Hoedspruit), where visitors can wander amongst the trees and explore stalls selling products handmade with Lowveld love. Hoedspruit locals as well as tourists can find everything they need to stock their fridge and pantry, as well as gifts, decor and crafts at direct prices.

Vendor Information

The Hoedspruit Farmers Market is a carefully curated market and we choose our traders carefully – not every application is accepted.

Our aim is to provide access to market for the K2C Biosphere small scale farmers, and a retail space for quality locally designed and produced goods in the areas of skincare, craft, fashion and food.

We vet applications based on the needs of our Market and to ensure that there are not too many similar / competing product ranges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I choose my stall space?

Unfortunately not. We carefully curate the layout each month to create flow.

What do vendors need to bring?
– 3 x 3m gazebo recommended as shade is limited.
– The K2C Biosphere has a limited number of tables available on a first-come-first-serve basis. These are largely used by our small-scale producers, so it is recommended that you bring your own table.
– Long extension cord, if you require power.
Vendor Parking
We ask vendors to park in specified areas to ensure a flow of parking bays for shoppers. The Vendor Parking Areas will be communicated to vendors.
Can I book via Whatsapp?
No – whatsapp is a communication tool, not an administrative one!
All vendors must complete the Google Form to Apply / Book once vetted. You may book for dates in advance.
Do I need to cancel bookings if I can’t make it?
Yes! Vendors who do not cancel their bookings will be invoiced for their booking.

Can I leave before the designated 1pm finish time?
We don’t force vendors to stay if they have sold out / need to leave early. However, no vehicular access is permitted before 1pm for safety reasons and out of respect for other vendors. Equipment must be carried out on foot before that time.

𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

 

 The K2C Biosphere, the Farm House and SPAR Hoedspruit invite you to an afternoon and evening of festive carols, a Christmas Market and Art in the Garden on Thursday 26 November 2026!

 

Celebrate all things local as we gather artists to showcase their talents in music, fine arts, culinary delights, and hand-crafted goods. Local schools and choirs will set the festive mood, singing beloved carols under the African sky.

 

Shoppers can meander through our Christmas Market, finding décor, gifts, and holiday pantry items. Our carefully vetted vendors embrace the ethos of “From the Region, For the Region,” offering a range of products, from artisan jams and sauces to beautifully crafted gifts, street food, and craft beverages.

 

After browsing, take a stroll through the lush Farm House gardens for an “Art in the Garden” experience in collaboration with the Kulani Collective. Explore diverse artworks, meet and chat to the artists, and maybe even find a special for yourself or a loved one.

As an entry fee, we kindly ask you to donate Santa Shoebox items to support centres that the Kruger To Canyons Youth Network supports.

 

Suggested items include toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, washcloths, educational supplies, sweets, and small toys. These can be purchased in advance or on the night from the Spar Stand, helping to make a little boy or girl’s Christmas a bit merrier!

Sunset is at 6:30pm, so stallholders must have supply their own lighting.
